The design team took full advantage of the geographical location of this first-tier river view luxury residence in Xianyang City. Large floor-to-ceiling windows allow for breathtaking views of the river, creating a seamless connection between the interior and the exterior. The public areas are fully open, making the space feel even more expansive.
One of the unique features of the Xianyang Bund I is the clever layout of the front and back balcony spaces, which create a north-south front and back courtyard. This concept, known as a sky courtyard, adds a touch of tranquility and natural beauty to the residence. The wooden fence ceiling in the courtyard, combined with vibrant green plants on the marble steps, creates a relaxing and inviting atmosphere.
The facade of the Xianyang Bund I utilizes deconstructive techniques, with horizontal and vertical interspersed elements. This not only adds visual interest but also cleverly defines different areas within the residence. The materials used, such as jazz white marble, clouds of gray marble, straight grain white oak veneer, off-white lacquered panels, and rose gold stainless steel, further enhance the luxurious and modern aesthetic.
With an area of 240 sqm, the Xianyang Bund I offers a spacious and comfortable living environment. The layout is carefully designed to ensure an unobstructed flowline from the entrance to the living room and then to the dining room, creating an open and free space.
The Xianyang Bund I project started in May 2019 in Shanghai and was completed in August 2019 in Xianyang. Throughout the design process, the team faced the challenge of creating large open spaces while maintaining consistency and improving the taste of the soft furnishings. They successfully achieved this by reducing the number of partition walls, harmonizing the soft furnishings and lighting with the interior design, and incorporating artwork that reflects the character of the space.
The Xianyang Bund I is a testament to the creativity and ingenuity of Na Li and Nuoyi Dai. This design not only provides a luxurious and comfortable living space but also allows residents to fully appreciate the beauty of the river view. It has been recognized with the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2021, showcasing its outstanding qualities and contribution to quality of life improvements.
